Terms of Service
Effective September 20, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of MapleMCP. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. MapleMCP is currently an early-beta service operated in Ontario, Canada by the verified developer identified in the OpenAI Plugins Directory.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. You may enroll or control only computers, accounts, files, and systems that you own or are authorized to administer. If you use MapleMCP for an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Administrator-capable service
MapleMCP can read, create, overwrite, move, or otherwise modify files and can start, interact with, and terminate processes. Commands may also cause an enrolled device to communicate with third-party systems. On Android, if you explicitly enable Advanced Control, MapleMCP can inspect the visible interface, capture requested screenshots, tap or scroll controls, enter text, perform navigation actions, and foreground apps or links where Android permits it. These actions can be consequential, including activating controls inside third-party apps. You are responsible for reviewing requested actions, choosing appropriate capability groups and operating-system permissions, maintaining backups, and testing risky work in an appropriate environment.
MapleMCP does not bypass Android PIN, password, biometric, or lock-screen security. An action may be accepted while a phone is locked but remain hidden until the user unlocks the device.
3. AI-generated decisions and instructions
MapleMCP can be invoked by AI systems that may produce incorrect, incomplete, or unintended instructions. You remain responsible for deciding what actions to request or approve and for reviewing important results. MapleMCP is not a backup service and should not be your only copy of important data.
4. Accounts and device security
You are responsible for protecting your account, authorization sessions, device enrollment credentials, and the devices you enroll. Enable only the MapleMCP capability groups and operating-system permissions you intend to use. Do not share enrollment secrets or authentication credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or an enrolled device has been compromised. See Permissions & Control Levels for details.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use MapleMCP to access systems without authorization, deploy or distribute malware, evade security controls, steal credentials or data, interfere with services, violate another person's rights, or violate applicable law or platform policies. You may not bypass account-to-device authorization, usage limits, safety controls, or other technical restrictions.
6. Your content
You retain whatever rights you have in your files, commands, inputs, and results. You grant MapleMCP only the limited rights needed to transmit and process that content to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and lawfully operate the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required for content you choose to process.
7. MapleMCP materials and non-public components
MapleMCP names, branding, documentation, service software, and non-public service components are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No license is granted to credentials, private configuration, private endpoints, or other non-public materials. These Terms do not restrict any inspection, interoperability, or other rights that applicable law gives you.
8. Third-party services
MapleMCP may depend on or integrate with third-party services, including AI clients, identity providers, hosting and security providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
9. Beta status and availability
MapleMCP is in early beta. Features may be incomplete, contain defects, change, be rate-limited, or be interrupted for maintenance. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where required by law, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risk, unauthorized activity, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using MapleMCP at any time and may request account deletion through Support.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MapleMCP is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty, remedy, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MapleMCP's total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid for MapleMCP during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleMCP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold the MapleMCP operator harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the service or your material breach of these Terms, except to the extent a claim results from the operator's own breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using MapleMCP.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other rights that apply where you live. Disputes may be brought in the courts of Ontario except where applicable law provides otherwise.
